A very windy drive to Veules-les-Roses past the marée exceptionnelle in the bay, Henson horses and Aberdeen Angus in the fields.

Heard the Little Owl in the night. Cycle to Quend-Plage, lovely cheese from "Le Fromager Gourmand" and moules from the shop next door.

Arrived early to lovely weather, Buzzards overhead and Greylag Geese on the sandpit lake.
