Flexiplus meant we were at the front of the train and first off for our journey to Headcorn.
Spring Is Sprung
A sunny start to our last full day in France, leaves starting to come out on the trees. Lunch and a drink in the evening outside.
Marquenterre
All the Storks and Spoonbills were starting to nest. Met with up with Alexander for a chat.
Candy Crush Saga
Fort-Mahon market in the morning and a sunny walk afternoon walk around Quend, all fitted in around some gaming!!
Le Pot du Clape
A walk around the walls at Montreuil and a visit to the citadel. Lunch of Flamiches au feu de bois.
La Route Des Vins
A walk around Saint-Valery. Sole from the poissonnière on Quai Perrée and wine from Carrefour.
If You Go Down To The Woods......
A walk through the countryside and woods with the sounds of sky larks and woodpeckers, sadly no Chevreuil.
Not Much On The TV
A pleasant start to the day. Shopping for a Essoreuse and a visit to the Laverie automatique. Gutter clearing and gardening in the afternoon.
Snowdrops
A rainy start to the day and a very small Fort-Mahon market. The Château grounds were full of Snowdrops, so we transplanted some.
Braving the Elements
A rare trip to Berck. It was a very windy night and morning, but it was nice enough by lunchtime for a drink outside and some gardening.
