A visit to the Musée Picarvie, lunch at "La Buvette de la Plage" and then a walk around the old town and the Herberium.
Bastille Day
Watched the parade in the village, complete with mini "Blues Brother", before a bike ride around the 17km Circuit du Héron.
Two by Two
A visit to the Musée de La Marine in Etaples and then Leclerc where we saw Camels, Llamas, a Zebra, Horses and Goats in the car park- the circus was in town.
Les Phoques
A walk around Le Hourdel with "views" of the seals in the distance- 91 according to the wardens.
Ready to Go
Cycle to the Rederie at Villers-sur-Authie. Getting the plant stand back to Quend was fun!
Dream Home
A rare visit to the market at Rue before Pauline, Dave and Oscar drop in on their way back from Spain.
Mackerel
Fort-Mahon market in the morning, spotted a Marsh Harrier on the way back. Tidying the patio in the afternoon and a barbeque later on.
Time to Turn Around
Bike ride (22.8 kms) starting from Saint-Valery along the Somme cycle path. Sightings of Cormorants, Storks, Buzzards and a Golden Oriole.
Heading for Dry Land
Saint-Valery market followed by a walk to Le Crotoy for the Salicorne festival, a couple of stands, so not too impressive! The high tides meant the sheep were paddling in places!
