Cayeux-sur-Mer

The name of this seaside resort comes from "Cayeux", the Picard name for pebble. The boardwalk is probably the longest in Europe, with about 400 cabins. They date from the sea-bathing era (late 19th century) and are still very popular with holidaymakers and locals.
The opening credits for the French police drama "Les témoins" (Witnesses) was filmed here, although much of the action is set in Le Tréport further south along the coast.
